New Year’s Ayurveda & Yoga Day Retreat

Take time to restore your body, mind, and heart, and set your intentions for 2024! With loving care from Ayurveda & Yoga.   

We’ll begin with a light vegetarian Ayurvedic lunch that will include:

  • Basmati Rice Pilaf (brown basmati rice, quinoa, green mung beans, spices, ginger,  coconut oil)
  • Coconut Curry Dal with Greens (red lentils, coconut milk, cooked greens, Ayurvedic spices, coconut oil)
  • Herb Chutney (cilantro, raisins, cashews, coconut, digestive spices)
  • Detox CCF Tea (coriander, cumin, fennel, turmeric, ginger)

Dietary restrictions can be accommodated.  

Next, sample the Ayurvedic practice of self-massage (abhyanga) using warm herbal oils to nourish dry skin and gently detoxify your body. You’ll massage your feet, legs, arms, and head. You’ll also learn how to give yourself a relaxing facial that acts as a natural “facelift.”  

We’ll close with restorative yoga poses, guided meditation, and journaling so you can create a personal intention for 2024.   

Bring a journal.  Dress in loose, natural-fiber layers so you can access your arms and legs. 

Bring a towel from home to protect your yoga mat from oil.

Women’s Restorative Weekend Retreat

Throughout the weekend, indulge in delicious seasonal meals that are prepared with love onsite. Explore the art of whole foods cooking and discover self-care techniques inspired by Ayurveda. Don’t miss this opportunity to restore and rejuvenate yourself in a serene and supportive environment.

The location is the lovely Shalom House in West Bend nestled in the woods of the Kettle Moraine State Forest barely an hour outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Shalom House is an intimate space. Space is limited to about a dozen women. Save your spot ASAP especially if you would like a double room.
