I'm passionate about helping women unlock their greatest potential to experience the energy, focus, and mood that they deserve.

Discover naughty meets nice in our Dirty Golden Milk Latte. In our quest for wellness, we often find ourselves teetering between indulgence and restraint. But what if we could have the best of both worlds? Enter the Dirty Golden Milk Latte, a luxurious fusion of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and modern coffee culture. This recipe is perfect for those mornings when you need a little extra oomph but still want to nurture your body.

The Golden Power of Turmeric

Turmeric, the star of our golden latte, has been celebrated in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. Its active compound, curcumin, is known for its potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Regular consumption of turmeric can support digestion, boost immunity, and even enhance mood.

Why choke down YET ANOTHER PILL when you can have turmeric – yes, the whole spice – in an indulgent warm, cozy beverage. WHY?

Turmeric root also boosts circulation which can help you feel more energized.

It’s fat soluble, meaning that it needs fat to be absorbed into the body and made bio-available.

But let’s be honest, the earthy taste of turmeric might not be everyone’s cup of tea—until now.

Ashwagandha: The Stress-Busting Adaptogen Saves the Day

To further elevate this blend, I add Ashwagandha, a revered adaptogen in Ayurveda. Ashwagandha is known for its unique ability to help the body manage stress by reducing cortisol levels.

It acts as a buffer against the stimulating effects of caffeine, creating a harmonious balance that energizes without the jitters.

Remarkably, Ashwagandha also supports better sleep quality, making it a true adaptogen that works with your body’s needs, whether for energy or relaxation.

Pro tip: Use Banyan Botanical’s Turmeric Milk Mix that includes Ashwagandha and digestive spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and ginger.

Good. To. Go.

Are Caffeine Beverages Naughty?

Despite what some recent studies have shown about caffeine being low-risk, there are real and damaging side effects of consuming too much caffeine like anxiety, insomnia, and indigestion. Then, there is addiction.

This is where moderation comes in. Go ahead, enjoy your favorite cup of joe in the morning. The trick is to reach for something else after that, especially in the afternoons when we usually experience a low-energy dip.

I think a big problem in our coffee culture is that everything is SUPER SIZED making it far too easy to overload on not just caffeine but sugar, too!

As much as possible, try to stick to a regular serving which is … (wait for it) … 8 OUNCES.

Americans are drinking more coffee than ever. More than 3 cups per day!

And we wonder why we can’t sleep at night.

By saying yes to a shot of coffee or espresso, we transform this traditional remedy into a bold, energizing beverage. The coffee not only complements the spices but also provides a much-needed morning pick-me-up.

This Dirty Golden Milk Latte is the epitome of balance, satisfying your taste buds while nourishing your body.
